(It's officially a busy day, y'all! I will try to keep up with all the news as best I can--please reload the page often for updates and expanded posts. In the meantime, be sure to get your emails in at country@wkml.com for tonight's WKML "Top 5 at 6"--every request matters as Bucky works his way to the Top 40 this week. Thanks!--Winnie)
From Bucky's official site: "Bucky Covington will appear on Fox News Channel's Big Story with John Gibson this Wednesday, February 7. Bucky will talk with John about his life following American Idol, including his debut single "A Different World" and upcoming April 17 album debut. The program airs at 5pm EST." (Many thanks to Pizzi for the heads-up.)
Today's Richmond Country Daily Journal has a story on Bucky's media appearances, along with that great photo of Bucky with Asheville Mayor Terry Bellamy on the front page (.pdf file) And as a quick look at the front page reveals, there are a few other TV appearances that didn't make it to the online edition of the article:
FEB 8: GAC, Country Music Across America (9 p.m. ET, repeats at 1 a.m.)
FEB 9: TV Guide Channel, Idol Chat (check local cable listings for times)
APR 7: Grand Ole Opry Live (televised on GAC--there's still no official word as to which parts of the show will make the broadcast, but we hope to have the details closer to airtime.)
Bucky's interview at KSSN 96 in Little Rock is coming up soon--the station streams, so hop in and enjoy! More later...
They just promoed Bucky on KSSN...said he would be in the studio for a talk but some contest winner get to have lunch with him. :) I wonder if they will have chickin' and dumplings, biscuits and sweet tea for Bucky and the lucky winners. haha
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like fun! Did they say what time?
ReplyDeleteNo.
ReplyDeleteThey probably know he driving from Memphis so are keeping it flexible.
ReplyDeleteThat's cool...and I hope the lunch winner has an awesome time and tells his/her story somewhere. :)
ReplyDeleteI think there were a number of winners....not a one-on-one sorta thing. :)
ReplyDeleteNot LIFE.. he said LIGHT.
ReplyDeleteThis is my light (to shine in)
Oh that makes my point even more....spotlight. I think the difference between the public and private is crossed too often. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Debbie for the clarification. :) Yes "light" is even more telling.
