WKML "Top 5 at 6" and more...

It's about that time! The "Top 5 at 6" countdown at WKML in Fayetteville is about to begin. Can Bucky keep his Number One spot this evening? Tune in and see--head over to WKML.com to hear tonight's show, beginning at 6 ET. We'll have the results for you here after the program.

(Results, and a bit of news, too! Bucky was Number One at WKML tonight, and DJ Larry kindly passed along this tidbit: Bucky's recent video and photo shoot took place at the Golden Oak Ranch in Southern California. Check out this gorgeous scenery, and imagine the possibilities...)

Tonight also brings two separate "dogfight" song challenges--"A Different World" beat the competition and is the reigning champion at 97.3 the Eagle in Virginia Beach. Tune in at 9:15 ET to cast your vote--the station streams online, so you can enjoy the fun from just about anywhere. And in Boise, KQFC will spin Bucky's new single against a challenger--listen in between 9 and 9:30 for your chance to have your say. Stay tuned! More details and results as the night goes on...

Looks like "A Different World" ends the week as a winner on KQFC in Boise (it'll be back to face another challenge on Monday) and goes to the "Eagle Hall of Fame" in Virginia Beach as a five-time winner--congratulations to Bucky, and to all the dedicated dialers! (Thanks to dbrosch for kindly updating us.)

Yes.com update--the site appeared to be behind for much of the day, but both the playlists and the artist pages seem to be close to current now. Happy listening!--Winnie

Bucky has won 2 times on the Boise Station (KQFC) and the DJ really likes him. He gave him a HUGE plug last night and said that he won "by the largest margin ever in KQFC showdown history". He talked about his upcoming CD and his myspace. This is a very bucky friendly station and as of last night my new station. I had listened to them in the past, but since my station refuses to play Bucky yet, they lost me as a listener.

Dont forget to tune in to KQFC on Monday and vote for Bucky again!! Lets make him a 5 time champ in Boise!

  14. Thanks Vali--I'm spelling country KQFC next time I'm in Boise. ;) Good to know the DJs there are enjoying Bucky and the song!

I was so sleepy that I got the Boise info mixed up--so off I go to correct it now. Thank you so much!
