Radio update: WKML "Top 5 at 6" and WBEE "Test Track"

It's about that time again! Tune in WKML at home or listen online to find out how Bucky's "A Different World" fared in tonight's "Top 5 at 6" countdown. We'll have the results for you at the end of the show... (Updated 6: 30--Congratulations, Bucky! Number One again...big, big thanks to all who requested today!)

And Bucky's still in the lead among Rochester's radio fans; can he hold his WBEE "Test Track" champion status tonight? Tune in or listen to the online stream at 7:30 ET, then vote for "Different World" by phone at 585-222-WBEE or online by clicking the "Megan Carter" link at the station's site to reach the polling page. A winner will be declared at about 8:20 p.m. Good luck, Bucky! (Updated 8:30--Bucky retires from the WBEE "Test Drive" as a champion tonight--thanks to all the Rochester fans, and congratulations!)

    We were talking about singers who do not look like their voices the other day (like Jason Michael Carroll)....well Rodney Atkins looked exactly like I pictured him when I first heard him without knowing what he looked like at all. haha

    This sub DJ for the countdown today is so like "voice from above" sounding compared to the usual folksy DJ. :) Both fine...but it just gives such a different vibe.

    They are putting Beverley Mitchell (of TV fame) against our guy tonight. She might have lots of pre-teen fans voting for her in a world that gave Hilary Duff and Hanna Montanna #1 albums. :O
