BluIsDixieGirl created this gorgeous banner to promote Bucky Covington's upcoming single, "Different World". (It was a little too large for the blog's margins--please click the image to enjoy the banner in its true glory.) Thanks, Blu! If you've created a signature, button or banner for Bucky that you'd like to share, please write me at the email address on the sidebar--I'd be happy to post it here.
A little bit of this and that for a busy Wednesday:
(Edited to add a link to two fantastic recaps on the GAC tour thread at the Fox boards--enjoy some sweet memories from Chattanooga and Macon...)
Honeygirl captured a lovely bit of Monday night's Chattanooga show from a great seat--you'll find her "suspiciously" delightful gift right here. Kudos to one of our favorite photographers!
There's a nice review of the Lancaster GAC Christmas show (which was also Julie Roberts' homecoming concert) in this morning's Lancaster News--Bucky's interpretation of "Suspicious Minds" got yet another press kudo (any chance you'll be recording this one, Bucky?) and one of his most loyal fans at the Fox boards got a fun mention toward the end! (You can congratulate her in this thread--sounds like she had a perfectly wonderful night...)
If you haven't been to Rawkhands lately, now's a good time to visit; Sunscreen and her crew of Constantine-and-Bucky fans have been keeping up with Bucky every step of the way. Catch up on some fun photos and goodies, enjoy lots of witty conversation, and check out her brand new screencaps from the GAC special. Thanks and good vibes to Sunscreen for all her hard work and Bucky-support.
Finally, Bucky's getting some high-fives on his current successes at the usually quiet TWoP boards this week--his thread in the "Old Product" section is hopping with links, good wishes, and a mini-recap of the Salem show near the end of the page.
More later today--c'mon back!
From your lips to Gods ears on suspicious minds Winnie. It has been long enough since Dwight Yoakum's remake. lol I would love for Bucky to do it with the fiddle in the back like at the show. I have been watching Honey's video if that all morning lol Kathy
ReplyDeleteWouldn't that be great? I'd love it too--maybe as a bonus track or something? He totally, totally rocks that song. (And a big yes on the fiddle backing!)
ReplyDeleteI so agree on Suspicious Minds. I have a copy of him doing it several years ago with the group Southern Thunder and WOW! Can't wait to hear him sing it tomorrow night. Thanks for putting up my banner Winnie. I appreciate it.
ReplyDeleteBren, thank you for creating the beautiful banner! I say it all the time, because it's true--Bucky is really blessed with some talented supporters. :)
