A blast from the recent past; Rocky Covington and Bucky Covington enjoy a word or two in this November photo by the very kind Moondancer MN. Thanks for sharing this fun shot!
A live-event reminder to start off the day--the January 13th farewell party for Rocky and Bucky at Marrz in Wilmington is selling out fast! Rocky Covington and Swamp Cat will grace the stage that night--there's no definite word on whether or not Bucky's schedule will allow him to be there, but we'll keep you posted. The show starts at 9 p.m. and it's an all-ages event (those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.) Head over to eTix.com to grab a ticket or three, and get ready to warm up your January with some hot live music...
Other than that, the between-holidays lull has apparently begun; so far, except for a very brief mention of Bucky in Terry Morrow's Knox News year-end roundup, there's no news to report. (Here's the entire line from the Knox News look back: "December...Great American Country cable channel shoots a special with Deana Carter and "American Idol" finalist Bucky Covington at the Tennessee Theatre.") That's it.
Everyone seems to be enjoying the after-Christmas peace and quiet. (Of course, history has shown that for Bucky Covington fans, a morning that seems like a "slow news day" can turn into an afternoon of adventure!) "Different World" hasn't been one of the Buzz Cuts played in the past day or so on Sirius New Country, but it'll almost certainly be a part of Saturday's "Beyond the Buzz" show at 9 p.m. If you're a subscriber and you're listening in that night, please feel free to share what the DJs have to say about it...
Back with a full post later--enjoy your Wednesday!
