Fan reviews from Wichita and Tulsa

While we're waiting for official (and unofficial) word from Tulsa about last night's GAC Country Christmas show, here's a description of the Wichita concert from a Deana Carter fan who was there. The snow kept much of the crowd away, as it turned out--but those who attended got a great evening of music and got to meet Bucky, Steve Azar, Julie Roberts and Blue County after the show. Read all about it, and major thanks to the generous fan who shared her GAC memories! More later...

Edited to add a link to a CMT message board poster's review of the Tulsa show! Bucky performed "Suspicious Minds" at the Million Dollar Elm last night--as with Wichita, the snow kept many concertgoers away, and it turned out to be a very intimate and magical night--the poster describes it as a show to be "remembered for a lifetime" and called it a "beautiful concert." Deana Carter, Bucky Covington, Steve Azar, Julie Roberts and Blue County were all there and made quite an impression. Get over there now, enjoy the post, and be sure to thank the generous poster for that great review!

Awww. You stepped away from your computer? Am shocked. :-)

I am a tiny bit jealous of the snowstorm audiences in a way. All that good music, and so intimate and cozy!! But let us keep fingers crossed for better weather, so the GAC tour can have big crowds and lots of buzz for the remainder.

I love Bucky. He is a trooper, along w/ all of the artists doing this in a blizzard. :-)

See you later, very sleepy here!! ~D

  2. Hey, Dina! Busy day online and off...

The tour's heading out of the snow, I think--good news for them and for us. (Although I can imagine seeing that lineup in a smallish setting was incredibly cool!) The buzz will happen. I'm sure of that.
