Quick update, 10/4

Bucky wants you to buy this CD! This strikingly direct and to the point (bad pun alert) CD cover was created by Sunny, featuring Kathy's classic screencap from Bucky's "Real Good Man" performance on Idol and using the shades of green from the studio lights as a stylish 3D-look frame. Thanks, Sunny, for gittin' 'er done--it looks great!

Edited to add an update from Buckyflowers about the Country Weekly poll: according to an email she received from the webmaster there, "This Cyber Poll will end today and the results will appear in the November 6 issue of Country Weekly, on sale October 23." An anonymous tipster in comments adds that the percentages are shifting fast today, and not in the way we'd like.

Now, you know you want to wear a big grin as you pick up that issue near the checkout stand later this month. (Bucky Covington's name in print--and maybe a nice photo of his smiling face, as well--as a poll winner in Country Weekly...what could be more enjoyable while we're waiting for that CD?) Get over there and vote now!

Not much else happening this morning, but there could be some recent news straight from Bucky and Rocky if the enterprising fans at the Fox boards are successful--they've contacted WLWL 770 about Monday's interview, and the latest word as of this post is that the station is transferring audio tape to disc. It'd be much fun to hear what the Covington brothers had to say to the hometown supporters--and that "great music", too. Fingers crossed...

She's got a few very recent episodes there for us to catch up on...wonder if Bucky and/or Mark Miller got a mention lately? (I'll be catching up myself after posting this, weather permitting--we've got storms on the way here in the usually-beautiful Great Lakes. If there's anything to report, I'll update right away.)
