(Images capped from MJ's beautiful videos--show her some love here...)
Just a quick sweep of the scene to start off the day:
Over at Idolforums, there's a cute story from a Bucky fan about his efforts to please some stalwart autograph seekers on opening night, and at TWoP, a poster who went to last night's Worcester show declared him a "real audience favorite". And as always, there's plenty of discussion at MJ's Big Blog, where much lively recapping is happening in the Saturday comments section.
Looking for photos? Two more concert galleries have been posted--this one comes from a kind poster at IDF (with some great connections...nice meet-and-greet shots!), and MJ's excellent images are also a must-see.
Today's Harrisburg Patriot-News revisits a recent interview with Taylor Hicks and Katharine McPhee in anticipation of the upcoming Hershey show; when asked who she'd especially enjoyed working with, Katharine replied:
Everyone was so great. I love Chris [Daughtry]. He's always been really fun to work with, and Mandisa is always positive all the time, always laughing, and I love to be around people like that. And Bucky [Covington] was so fun. He's just a jokester. He needs to get his own reality show or something because he's got some lines in him.
(There's one reality show that we'd definitely like to see!) The article also mentions that as of press time Katharine "was expected to join the other 'Idols' in Hershey"--here's wishing her a continued speedy recovery.
And there are some nice photos--and some very informative links--posted at Team Covington this weekend. (It's no secret that I'm pretty fond of the hat...nice shot, Kathy!)
More reviews of last night's show should pop up by the time you read this--updates coming later. Have a good Sunday morning!
You're doing a fantastic job! I can't believe how thorough you are!
ReplyDeleteHi, Grace, and thanks! My pleasure. (Can you tell I'm kind of excited about Bucky being on tour?)
ReplyDeleteIsn't this exciting!?? Thanks so much for all the great links! I come on here 50 times a day lol cause I know you've found a new link for me to drool over.
ReplyDeleteHey there Kathy! You're very kind--thanks!--and yes, Bucky on tour really is exciting. Honestly, I hope what he said on Rita Cosby about having a hit and touring all over again (soon) comes to pass. I'd be just fine with us getting to hear him play every summer for the rest of our lives... :)
