The fan reviews from last night's Bridgeport show are beginning to trickle into the Fox boards and MJ's; sadly, Keeping the Boogie Alive's usual stellar concert play-by-play suffered a tech glitch and a bit of overeager security this evening. From the sound of things, tomorrow's day off couldn't have come a moment too soon for Taylor Hicks--hope he's feeling much better soon. No word on Bucky's Connecticut performance so far, but there might be some descriptions by the time you read this.
However, if you were lucky enough to attend, the Connecticut Post is all ears and eyes--they have a special blog page set up, and concertgoers can email photos and reviews for posting on the paper's site. Just ignore that "Superbowl of Karaoke" header, if possible. (Sure would be nice to have some Bucky fans represented there. Not that I'm hinting or anything...)
Other than that, an update to the great IDF Wilkes-Barre post ("Superstition" and a bit of "Drift Away" now await you there) and a few fun new meet and greet photos posted in Bucky's folder at the official boards, it's oddly quiet out there today. Thursday should be an interesting night--according to MJ's Big Blog, Katharine McPhee is said to be joining the tour in Pittsburgh, after an appearance on The View and a press conference announcing a hair-product endorsement deal, and some set changes are bound to happen. Will "Patience" survive the cut? Will Taylor's lovely "Don't Let Me Down" return to the menu? (One clever fan suggested that Bucky and Chris' "Tobacco Road" might spice things up a bit...wishful thinking, but a rather charming idea, isn't it?)
Back later today for some more real news, with any luck...
