Living the dream...

Tonight's the night! Bucky Covington and the rest of the Top Ten are rockin' it live in New Hampshire for a sold-out* show at the Verizon Wireless Arena. Every pointless slam from Simon Cowell, every minute Bucky spent working hard and becoming a serious contender (and one of the most engaging Idols ever to grace the show), all our late nights hitting the redial button over and over--it's all going to be worth it the moment he steps out on stage to that packed and cheering house tonight. Congratulations, Bucky--and may you always live your dream.

USA Today's Whitney Matheson will be live on the scene in Manchester, posting as-it-happens updates on the Idol Chatter blog starting at 4:30 p.m. (This has become something of a USA Today tradition, and is spoiler-heavy by nature. So if you want to be surprised, um, don't click that link, okay? Ahhh, temptation...)

We'll be blogging off and on all day (and most of the night) as best we can, and Bucky Country, the official boards, and just about every place on our sidebar will have up to the minute dispatches from those who are there, and those who want to be there. Put on a pot of coffee and hang out online a while!

There's also a well-hidden--but very busy--"Concert Series" sub-folder on the Fox boards. (This one's moving even faster than the IDF tour board, which is quite a feat.) For first general tour photos, though, Idolforums is probably pretty much the place to be. The Manchester sub-forum is here, and Bucky's sub-forum is right there.

See you later tonight with more ramblings. Have a great Wednesday, y'all!

(*"Sold out" is a relative term, of course--there are some excellent late-release seats popping up at Ticketmaster, and eBay prices for the Manchester concerts are falling fast. If you're in the area--go! )
