Flash post, 7/14

First and foremost, head over to Idolforums for a gorgeous photo thread from the Hershey show by a poster with some serious concert photography skills. The Bucky and Kellie duet snaps are priceless, and she caught the entire show with style. (There's one shot in particular that'll have Taylor's fans talking for days...)

Sounds like Bucky was a major crowd-pleaser in New Jersey tonight. We'll let these excerpts from the incredibly cool play-by-play at Keeping the Boogie Alive (thanks, y'all!) say it all:

Bucky is singing "Superstition". EJ says Bucky suddenly appeared through some smoke.

"Lots of girls screaming for ol' Bucky. Right now."

"Now he's leaning way down and hugging some girl in the first row. [Wonder if that was Mrs. Covington? Bet it was--B.B.] He's been working on his dance moves."

EJ says his blond hair is really flowing. Now he's playing air guitar next to the guitarist. Now he's doing some weird dance up and down the steps. He's still doing Superstition, going up the ramp, pointing to the audience. He's got on a black shirt with a gray yoke (Western), jeans, boots. His hair looks great.

Song ends. Crowd cheers. Some girly screams. Bucky is talking. On goes the cowboy hat. Music starts for "Drift Away".

EJ says he's coming back down the stage again. He propped his boot up on the railling and nailed that note.

EJ says he really is a sweetheart.

He's coming down in front, coming to touch the audience. He just touched an old lady's hand. The body guards are behind him. He's trying to touch everyone's hand. He's really sweet.

And on Bucky and Kellie's "Grease" duet:

They move to the sides of the stage and then walk back together in the middle.

They're moving across the stage like he's intimidating her -- he's moving forward and she's moving back. Then they do the opposite.

(woo -- sex appeal, watch it guys!)

(If you haven't registered there--and you're a fan of both Bucky's and Taylor Hicks'--it's well worth the time. Again, much thanks to the Boogie...um, boogie-ers?)

There are also kudos for Bucky posted at the official boards from a kind Taylor Hicks fan just home from the show; she mentions that her friend, a fan of the recently-signed (congratulations!) Chris Daughtry, was also impressed. There are photos coming to her profile soon, too, so be sure to check back...

And the sweet Elliott Yamin fan who posted about Wednesday night's concert returns to recount a few fun moments spent greeting the Idols near the buses in New Jersey. (Think it's safe to call her an Elliott and Bucky fan by now...)

More fan reviews will turn up at Idolforums, at the Fox boards, and at MJ's all day, and with any luck there'll be a bit of audio-visual goodness surfacing as well.
