Quick Tuesday! Tuesday! Tuesday! update

Just a little news sweep to get this hype-filled exciting Tuesday going...

If you missed Bucky and the Top Ten Minus Two's appearance on Fox and Friends this morning, you're not alone. (Sigh.) With any luck, and with that many fan bases interested, there'll be some online goodies soon--meanwhile, there's a discussion happening here at the official boards.

Bucky, Chris, Elliott and Ace's night out on the Sunset Strip--well, a few minutes of it, anyway--were captured on film. (That's what paparazzi are for.) See a bit of it here at TMZ, or if you need a lower-tech glimpse, there's a somewhat pixelated Flash version at Lulop.

Speaking of tech and AOL and such, here's the link to the Idol CD listening party--if you're running a recent version of Windows Media Player, you can check out the whole "Superstition" track. Bucky's version is getting good reviews, even from those who weren't necessarily big fans of his...

Now, about that hype. Hey, did you know that tonight is the final performance show of this season's Idol? Did ya? Lots of media types have weighed in on the possible delights (or possible lack of same) of tonight's showdown. You'll remember our last Cruel Link from Boston--this new "ouch"-inducing article and its companion piece in the Boston Globe will make you wonder if Simon Cowell has some Bostonian roots...

Amy S. Rosenberg gives Bucky a fun--and creative--shout out in her Philadelphia Inquirer article today. Bucky seems to have captured the hearts of the "Idol Moms" who first got hooked on Idol for its notably kid-friendly qualities. (The notably Bucky-friendly Ms. Rosenberg will also be participating in a live chat during tonight's show at Philly.com, so be sure to pop in for that one.)

Finally, here's a bit of eye-candy for you-- another stylish Bucky wallpaper for your collection, courtesy of a talented fan at IDF.

More later today!
