It's the first day of the Pop Tarts presale--check Ticketmaster for the link to your venue of choice. Tickets go on sale at 10:00 a.m. local time. The Kellogg's password is CRAZYGOOD, all caps, no spaces. Good luck, everybody--I hope you get seats you really love!
Just a reminder--if you're signed up for emails from your local venues, radio stations or AEGLive.com, there's a good chance your mailbox is holding a password for a local Thursday or Friday presale. So if the Pop Tarts seats that come up are less than thrilling, never fear...you've probably got another chance to get your tickets before the general sale begins on Saturday morning.
Yes, I know--it's tough to make the decision about whether to wait, to pounce now, or to go through the expense of buying an okay seat today and trying to upgrade closer to the day of the concert. But as Team Covington points out, a bird in the hand might be better than two in the bush...
Meanwhile, there is a little bit of corporate-style, non-concert news--audio downloads of Bucky's finals performances (and "Simple Man" from the semis--why no "Wave On Wave"? ) are available at the Fox site until May 24th, for the low, low price of just 99 cents. Videos are said to be "coming soon", and the "which contestant's performances would you like to see again?" poll is making a repeat appearance on the home page. Connected? Maybe. Can't hurt to throw a few (or a lot!) of votes Bucky's way.
And if you're looking for something really special to wear to the show, this eBay item is definitely worth a peek...
See you at the arena! Full post later today...have fun!
Hey did you sign up for the insider at the Columbus venue?? I still haven't gotten my password for their presale. I had called yesterday to see if they were having one and she said they should go out in email by this morning. But still nothing lol So hopefully they will go out soon.
ReplyDeleteHi Kathy! Yep, I did sign up, but no word. (Just checked my email a moment ago.) We'll probably hear about it at the same time, but I will definitely pass it on to you when I get it, just in case!
ReplyDeletecool! yeah I may not have gotten signed up for the insider thing quick enough. I just did it the other day lol I thought I had but when I got to checking I hadn't I just called and she said the email hasn;t went out yet but that I may or may not have made the deadline so if you could shoot it my way here I would really appreciate it! Good Luck!
ReplyDeleteI sure will! Am checking my mail again now. Good luck to you, too!
ReplyDeleteHey, Kathy! Here's the Columbus venue presale info:

Good luck with both--hope you get great seats!
Hey! Yep I didn't get the email lol But i went ahead and bought from the poptarts one lol I think they are fairly good seats. They are in the first section by the stage but not floor. I went ahead and went there becasue I am so short if I am not in the first three rows on the floor I usually can't see once people stand up lol Hopefully I can see Bucky thats all that matters lol Have you went to the otur before? AI probably doesn't allow cameras do they?
ReplyDeleteCongratulations--and yes, you'll be able to get a good look at Bucky from the first section near the stage! It is tough for petite folks on the floor--tall people like me are too apt to block your view... :) I got respectable 13th row floor in Cleveland...now I just have to pray a bunch of basketball players aren't in 1-12.
ReplyDeleteAnd about cameras--the tickets will probably have "no cameras" printed on them, but most people seem to have no problems with bringing them from what I hear, as long as they're not the professional kind with big zoom lenses. (The worst that could happen with that is them asking you to take it back to your car.)
And now, a fangirly moment....yaaaaaaaaaaaaay, Bucky Covington in concert! Whooo! (end fangirly moment)
yeaah! A fangirl moment squeeeeeeeeee! Yes I am only 5'2 so not a lot of hope once people stand up. lol
ReplyDeleteI got my ticket for Nassau Coliseium on Long Island. Front floor section row 34. Woo Hoo!! Still can't believe that I am going to this "cheesefest" but the chance to hear Bucky perform live is too great to pass up. Thanks for all your great tips on how to snag good seats.
ReplyDeleteMy pleasure, Carol! Whoohoo! Pass the cheese, please!
ReplyDelete(And like I said, I have ulterior motives--it'd be so much fun to hear a big cheer when Bucky hits the stage. Congratulations and have a blast!)
