Quick update...

Just a few links for your Sunday pleasure:

The Richmond County Daily Journal (thanks for linking us!) gives the details for next week's "Bucky Bash"--and some helpful voting tips-- in this morning's edition:

Bucky’s twin brother, Rocky, will be performing with Caddy Wampus, as well as signing autographs and posing for photographs. The band will play from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

“American Idol” starts at 8 p.m. and will be shown on a widescreen projection TV with stereo sound. Time Warner Cable is providing the feed for the TV.

We wish we were local. If you are, be there or be square! (And say hi to Rocky for us...)

And while Bucky himself has been getting some increasingly positive attention in the media lately, this season of Idol in general seems to be getting mixed reviews from the hardcore fans, who'd like--surprise!--a little less marketing-tie-in time and more focus on the contestants and the music. We posted about this same issue a few entries back; but these TWoP posters are much more eloquent, and a similarly thoughtful thread is happening at FoRT. (Not everyone in these threads is a Bucky fan, but some make the case for more screen time for him quite nicely.) Looks like an interesting conversation is about to happen...

Finally, and just for fun--it's great to see how busy Bucky's sub-folder at Idolforums has gotten after his last two performances. One of those thread titles is going to have us smiling all day long. (We've linked to the board--we'll let you guess which thread made us smile. Just remember the other Law of Idol--floaty hearts equal votes.)
