Deep breaths, everyone...

Almost showtime and all is quiet--well, sort of. (How do the Idol singers stay so calm on show nights? Anyone else feel like they've had a grande espresso with a cola chaser?)

A bit of news to soothe you while we wait for this memorable night to begin:

Via MJ's Big Blog, a commenter says a friend attended the dress rehearsal. The show is going to be better than some had feared, she reports, and Paris is in the "pimp spot" (last performer of the evening) tonight. Someone asked how Bucky did--no answer yet, but there may be one by the time you click that link up there!

(We're wondering if this will be a trend--will Rod Stewart's guest spot be accompanied by a similar USA Today advance spoiler, and what does this mean for the show overall?)
