Ticketmaster alert, video links and more...

Photo by DeniseBernadette--click here to view her incredible concert gallery and for ordering info.

If you're thinking of attending the final American Idols Live concert in Wilkes-Barre, head over to Ticketmaster soon--some good floor seats have been released, and that'll probably continue all week. So keep typing those weird words and crossing your fingers; you could be in for an extremely pleasant surprise. (Fourth row! I'm happy.) Thanks to BigTayFan at MJ's Big Blog for the heads-up. (For those planning to skip the concert and go straight to the LMBO raveup at the Woodlands, here's the Etix link--see you there!)

And while you're at MJ's, be sure to check today's latest post--there's a link to her videos from the Syracuse concert, now available at GoFish. Most of Bucky's time onstage ("Superstition", "Drift Away" and "Patience") is posted for your pleasure. Show MJ some love, and have fun!

A kind anonymous poster popped these links into the Chatbox--the announcement about Mark Miller producing Bucky's upcoming CD has hit Music News Nashville and is being syndicated in a "country music news" column to radio station sites. (You can check it out on Orlando's K92-FM site, among others.) The MNN intro was especially fun--as was the photo they chose:

Almost as soon as his departure from American Idol 5 aired -- premature departure, his many fans would add -- charismatic finalist and North Carolina native Bucky Covington was the subject of widespread rumors of an impending "big break" deal.

Radio and press reports placed him in Nashville, meeting with Sawyer Brown frontman, producer and songwriter Mark Miller about joining the multi-platinum country group. Well, the rumors were half right, as the 28-year-old singer and songwriter has signed on with Miller to produce his debut album. Bucky has also signed on with Frank Miller and Ron Harris of Nashville based O-Seven Artist Management, as well as with Creative Artists Agency as his booking agency.

Yep, we're gonna have to agree with both the "charismatic" part and the "premature departure" bit. (Wasn't it fun to look forward to a song from Bucky every Tuesday night?) But all's well that ends well...

Tonight's Hershey show should be wrapping up soon; no LMBO afterparty tonight (the next one's Thursday at the Asylum in Portland, Maine), but there should be recaps at MJ's and the official boards later tonight.

And last but definitely not least, if you'd like to send well-wishes to Bucky's wife Crystal, be sure to visit the support thread for her at the Fox boards; she popped in today to say a sweet hello.

See you soon!
