This month marks the 7th anniversary of Bucky Covington's very first post-Idol concert tour--he joined Julie Roberts, Deana Carter, Steve Azar, Aaron Benward and Scott Reeves for the magical GAC Christmas Tour in late 2006. Bucky was a late addition to the lineup, and what a fantastic lineup it was. The concert tour criss-crossed the nation making lots of country music-loving folks very happy, indeed--and it also gave me a chance to say hello to Bucky for the very first time. (As you might be able to tell by this very gushy, XXL concert recap I wrote back in the day, I was--and remain--pretty impressed...)
