Here's Bucky Covington and his band singing "God Bless The USA" at the Jackson County Fair in Wellston last week; Bucky's next concert date is Friday, Aug. 2nd, when he and his band will rock the Party on the Course festival at the Old Works Golf Course in Anaconda, MT. Tickets are on sale right now at OldWorks.com.
Another August date is in the "unconfirmed but very likely" column--the Thunder Country Concert site features a photo of Bucky on their front page, with a graphic indicating that he'll perform there on August 17th. Bucky's also in the spotlight on their Facebook page, with this note:
We are pleased to announce that Bucky Covington , from American Idol, will now headline the concert on Saturday night! Buckys self-titled debut album, ‘Bucky Covington’ produced by Mark Miller of the band Sawyer Brown, was debuted at #1 on the Top Country Albums chart, making the album the best opening week for a debut album by a male on the chart since 1992. His album also debuted on the Billboard 200 at #4. It produced three hit singles on the Hot Country Songs charts: "A Different World" at number six, "It's Good to Be Us" at number eleven, and "I'll Walk" at number ten.
