Those smiles may be sunny, but it sounds like the weather in Music City was anything but. Bucky tweeted this message earlier today: "Nasty day outside = Great day for songwriting. Now what should we write about?!?"  Lots of fun replies to that question--we're looking forward to whatever music comes out of this not-so-beautiful atmosphere...

Back when this blog (and Bucky's career) were just getting started, we shared a link to a great new social network/entertainment site that was just getting off the ground.  Both Buckymania and Eventful are still around all these years later, and it's way past time to give the latter a second look!  As you'll recall, Eventful is a site where fans can "demand" a show by their favorite performers, and performers can gather info to find out where the highest demand might be, add events, make announcements and more.  While sites like Facebook and Twitter are where most artists and fans spend the lion's share of our time, there's a lot to be said for music-specific networks like Eventful and ReverbNation--and both of those sites happen to interface nicely with Facebook and Twitter.
