New show announced: Bucky Covington and band at the Jackson County Fair (Wellston, OH) July 17th...

Kimberly took this terrific photo of Bucky Covington on stage in Bowling Green, Kentucky--many thanks to her for her kindness!

There's a new concert date on Bucky Covington's summer schedule--here's the announcement from the Jackson County Daily:
WELLSTON— An American Idol alumnus will be performing at this year’s Jackson County Fair. The fair will feature Nashville Recording Artist Bucky Covington on Wednesday, July 17 at 7:30 p.m.
"We are excited to have Bucky at this year’s Jackson County Fair," said entertainment committee member Kim Milliken. "I think he is a very talented entertainer, a crowd pleaser and everyone likes him. He appeals to young and old alike and will do Jackson County well."

Milliken added, "Appalachia Rain will be opening for Bucky Covington. Appalachia Rain, a band consisting of musicians from Jackson County, won the Battle of the Bands at last year’s fair and they have had a very successful year as well!"

"We will be selling track seats for an additional cost ($10) for those who want to sit close to the stage. As always the grandstand will be included in the fair admission," said Entertainment Committee member Heather Kitchen.

The fair's site is here--bookmark it and check back often!

Bucky shared a rather intriguing photo on Twitter today--check it out, and ponder what that "busy day full of TV filming" might be all about.  Inquiring minds want to know!  Our fantastic friend Fran of Buckytown USA will have more news as the weekend rolls on, so be sure to enjoy her Saturday and Sunday posts.

I'll be out of town with family for most of next week, but I'll be back to full posting by Thursday evening or so...until then, please feel free to join me via Twitter, where I'll update as best I can.  (Have smartphone, will travel...)

Have a wonderful weekend, y'all!
