New Bucky Covington interview at the Portage Daily Register (via Wiscnews.com)

Thanks to pcolson90 for posting this bit of fun from Bucky Covington's fan club party in Nashville--here's "I Wanna Be That Feeling", the first beautiful single from Bucky's new album, Good Guys.

There's a terrific new interview with Bucky Covington at Wiscnews.com this evening; in it, he discusses his life post-Idol, the making of "Drinking Side of Country" and lots more with the Portage Daily Register's Craig Spychalla.  Here's some of what he had to say about his brand now album:
While he had hits like "A Different World" on his first album, Covington feels like he has the reins on his own career with Good Guys, which he helped write and produce.

"That’s kind of the turning point in my career," he said.

"Sometimes in this business ... you are putting stuff out that is good, but just ain’t you. 'Drinking Side of Country' is definitely where I grabbed the reins."

If you're on of the lucky concert goers who got seats for his sold out show opening for Jo Dee Messina at the Ho-Chunk Casino, Hotel and Convention Center in Baraboo WI on Saturday night, congratulations...you're in for a party!   Those of us who can't be there (sigh) can enjoy Bucky's music via country radio--be sure to give your favorite station a call tonight.

(Still no word about the next single--but we'll post anything we hear as soon as we hear it!  Take care, y'all--W)
