Bucky Covington's "Drinking Side of Country" helps the Good Guys of Hurricane Sandy, guitar raffle, new interviews and more...

The Brothers Covington and company in HD--what better way to start off the week? Here's Bucky Covington and his band (featuring an awesome Rocky Covington drum intro) performing "Mama Must Be Praying" in Paintsville, KY--thanks to for capturing the moment so well!

Besides the fact that it's a total three-minute party, there's now another great reason to download Bucky Covington and Shooter Jennings' rockin' single "Drinking Side of Country". This past weekend,  Help The Good Guys announced on Facebook that all profits from iTunes downloads of the song through 12/31 will benefit firefighters and their families who suffered loss due to Hurricane Sandy.  Bucky and his fellow country stars also shared a link to donate to the Red Cross via iTunes Music. Much love to all our friends on the East Coast as the recovery and rebuilding begin...

Speaking of "Drinking Side of Country", it's been retired from the current GAC Top 20 ballot, but no worries--you can still vote for it and "I Wanna Be That Feeling" at the GAC Top 50 Videos of the Year poll.  "Drinking Side of Country" remains listed on CMT Pure's Pure 12 Pack--vote early, vote often, and request it at your favorite local country radio station...

Bucky's got a very special event coming up on November 10th, when he,  Help the Good Guys and the Chattanooga Firefighters Association Local 820 are hosting a pancake breakfast benefit for Tristin Greer, son of senior firefighter Jason Greer, who is battling neuroblastoma.  Although we'd all love to be there for food, fine tunes and flapjacks, there's a way for those of us far from Chattanooga to be part of the day.  You can win a beautiful custom Help The Good Guys guitar (with Bucky's logo prominently displayed) in this online raffle in progress at the HTGG store.  The winning ticket will be drawn at the concert, and the winner need not be present to win.  Good luck!

Thanks to the very kind Diver for sharing this shot of Bucky Covington on stage in Jacksonville, FL. Bucky returns to Florida for two concerts in December; check out his tour calendar at eOne, and get to a show!

We'll wrap it up with not one but two interview links that popped up over the weekend.  This intriguing interview by Taste of Country's Sterling Whittaker covers Bucky's contractual/label tangle, the excellence of his new album Good Guys, future production possibilities, his thankfulness to the fans who stuck by during that long break (awww) and lots more.

Finally, be sure to check out this fun CMA Awards backstage video from Froggy 104.3/103.5/94.9's Danger, where Bucky and a special guest--a fire chief from the Pittsburgh area--talk about fire safety, Shooter Jennings' coolness (we are in total agreement here), Kellie Pickler's awesomeness (ditto), among many other topics.

We're still putting the finishing touches on our site makeover--if things look a bit scrambled, please reload and try again.  Have a great night, everyone!
