Very quick news: Thanks to Buckytown USA, new photos at Flickr, and Bucky Covington concert updates...

Bucky Covington shared this great concert poster at his offcial Facebook today--join him, the Manchester Township career firefighters, Help The Good Guys and Kayla Kroh on September 23rd for an afternoon benefit at Cousler Park in Manchester Township, PA.    Proceeds will support the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Check out more of Bucky's concert dates at eOne, and get to a show soon!

Bucky Covington and his band have plenty of busy August days ahead--on Saturday, they'll be entertaining the crowd at a PBR Touring event in Chihuahua, Mexico (check out the Spanish-language page here), on Thursday the 30th, enjoy their live show at the Barbour County Fair in Belington, WV, and on the 31st, they'll grace the Grandstand stage at the Columbia County Fair in Chatham, NY.  Don't let summer wind down without enjoying Bucky's wild and wonderful live show!

The release date for Bucky's upcoming album, Good Guys, is just around the corner (September 11th, to be exact), and he's been making the rounds to celebrate--check out this shot he and CMT shared via Instagram, taken at the CMT studios; and this fun photo of Bucky with Brittney McCoy at GAC via Facebook.  We're looking forward to seeing lots of Bucky as the countdown to the release date goes on!  Pre-order your copy now at Amazon, iTunes, Bucky's official site (along with some very cool merch deals) and at the HelpTheGoodGuys.com store, where a Special IAFF Edition is available. We've got yet another option for preorders this week--check out this page at WalMart.  Any way you chose, you win!  (The album got a five star review at GotCountry, in case you needed even more inspiration...)

We'll close with a link to some beautiful new photos at Flickr today--enjoy this set of shots graciously posted by the IAFF, taken at Bucky's recent concert during the 51st FIREPAC reception in Philadelphia and this single (and terrific!) photo by Aileen Savage.

Finally, a hearty thank you to the awesome Fran of Buckytown USA for her kindness during my family emergency this week--her posts are incredible!  I'm helping my mom recuperate, so I'll be working from out of town and on a borrowed computer, but I'll try to keep up with Bucky's busy pre-release weeks as best I can.  Huge thanks also to everyone who wrote with kind thoughts--Bucky Covington is blessed with the sweetest fans in the world.  See you tomorrow, and on Twitter again very soon--W
