Quick weekend preview: Bucky Covington's busy September schedule begins (updated 9/2: Concord show cancelled)

By request, an all time favorite concert photo by the very generous Judy Lang: here's Bucky Covington on stage at his homecoming concert in Rockingham, NC. Click here to view his concert calendar at eOne.

Bucky Covington and his fans have a lot to look forward to in September--one mega-hot (and long-awaited) album and many exciting live shows are on the horizon!  Bucky's month begins with a performance at the Route 29 Festival in Concord NC on Sunday, September 2nd. He'll be part of the Taste of Country lineup, along with Greg Bates, Leah Seawright and Landon Parker. Get your tickets at eTix now, or call 1-800-514-3849 for more information.  (Update from Bucky's official Twitter: "Sorry to say tonight's show in Charlotte has been cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control. Hope we can come back to the area soon!")

On Saturday, September 8th, enjoy his music at the Russell County Fair in Castlewood, VA.

And of course, Tuesday the 11th is the day Bucky's second album, Good Guys, drops!  You can pre-order it now at Amazon, iTunesBucky's official site, and at the HelpTheGoodGuys.com store.  (Those last two online outlets include some especially cool merch-and-CD packages--be sure to check them out.)

On September 22nd, enjoy Bucky and the band at the Tallahatchie River Fest in New Albany, MS, where they'll take the Bob Johnson Memorial Stage at 8 pm.

The big show at Cousler Park in Manchester Township, PA on September 23rd is a must-see!  Bucky joins the Manchester Township career firefighters, Help The Good Guys and Kayla Kroh to raise funds the Muscular Dystrophy Association.  The event's Facebook page also adds that "a special edition Fire Dept. Bucky Covington Autographed Guitar will be raffled off among other items", so you've got a chance at a once in a lifetime souvenir as well as a great day of music.

For a look at all of Bucky's busy fall schedule, bookmark his official calendar and the handy sidebar at Buckytown USA, where Fran will have a full weekend's hot news for you this and every Saturday, Sunday and Monday morning.  We'll see you Monday night--have a beautiful weekend!
