Quick news: New photos by John Dixon at Bucky Covington's official site, merch store opens, more concert dates...

Thanks to the very generous Hildi for sharing this creative shot of Bucky Covington on the big screen at the Grand Ole Opry last weekend.  Bucky and his band are on the road all summer and fall--click here to find out when they'll be lighting up a stage near you.

If you haven't been to Bucky Covington's official site lately, hop on over right now!  Bucky's visit at the Grand Ole Opry this past weekend was captured in beautiful photos by John Dixon, and you can browse them all now at the gallery.  There's also a brand new Merch section, with details on pre-order bundles for Bucky's upcoming album, Good Guys.  Fans who choose the #3 bundle are eligible for a special prize as well--this one includes: "Bucky Covington's Autographed Good Guys  Album, a (BC)T-Shirt, a (BC)Shot Glass, a (BC)Can Koozie & an Autographed Lyric Sheet of "Drinking Side of Country" handwritten by Bucky Covington! As a Bonus for purchasing the presale of Album Bundle #3 your name will be entered in a raffle to win the shirt off Bucky's Back!"  Sounds like fun--good luck!  Bucky's album will be released on September 11th.

Things are busy in the Calendar section, too--more concert stops have been added, including a new "Live from The Ledge" performance at the Hard Rock Cafe Nashville on August 21st, and a two-night stop at the Cole Auditorium of the Richmond Community College in Hamlet, NC on October 25th and 26th.  (Our good friend Fran at Buckytown USA shows a PBR (Professional Bull Riders) event with concert in Chihuahua, Mexico on August 25th...needless to say, we can't wait to hear more about that!)

In the meantime--and much closer to home--you can enjoy Bucky's expert driving skills and his musical talents at the Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway on Saturday, August 11th, where he will take the wheel of a custom made Legends Race Car to benefit Help The Good Guys and the Nashville Local 140 Fire Fighter's Relief Fund.  There's a post-race concert too--the fun begins with signing and photos at 4 and music about 4:30 or so.  Bucky shared photos of this distinctive car at his Facebook today--check it out!

We'll be back tomorrow with more--until then, keep an ear out for "Drinking Side of Country" on your local country radio station, and vote for "Drinking Side of Country" and "I Wanna Be That Feeling" at CMT Pure's Pure 12 Pack.  ("I Wanna Be That Feeling" is rockin' the Top Ten at GAC's Top 20 Country Countdown...congrats!)
