Bucky Covington at Jam for America 10/16, plus a few concert reminders... (Updated--Jam tickets available online now!)

Rocky Covington (at left) and Bucky Covington delighted the crowd at the LHS Country Showdown in Kansas earlier this year; many thanks to Judy Lang for the terrific photo. (Click the image to see Bucky's current concert dates at his official site.)

Bucky Covington and his excellent band will join headliners Gretchen Wilson and John Anderson and the JaneDear Girls at this year's Jam for America, on October 16th in Daytona Beach, FL. The show is a benefit for the Wounded Warrior Project, which assists seriously injured service men and women. Tickets are $25 in advance ($35 at gate), and the website is currently unable to process online ticket requests. (Updated--tickets are available online now! Thanks to Hildi for the good news.) There's a contact page on the site and a Facebook page here for further inquiries. 93.1 WKRO is listed as the radio sponsor--if you're local, keep it tuned there for more info.

While we're here, we'll share a couple of quick reminders about upcoming autumn shows; enjoy Bucky and company at the USC Bundy Auditorium on Friday, November 19th. Check ticket availability by phone at 803-286-1145 or email plittle@lancastercitysc.com or p.arts@lancastercitysc.com for info. This is an intimate venue--if it's sold out by the time you read this, listen to Eagle 92.9 for possible ticket contests. (Thanks again to Hildi.)

And if you're anywhere near Weston WI, what on earth are you doing online? Log off now and go party with Bucky and the band Friday night at RJ's Bullshooter's Saloon, 7802 Meadow Rock Dr. in Weston. Wish we could be there with you--have fun!
