Thanks to buckyteacher for sharing this windy (listen close!) but fun video of Bucky Covington's recent radio interview in Florence, SC. Bucky spoke with some passionate friends and fans during this segment, and he got in an eloquent plug for his hot new single, "A Father's Love (The Only Way He Knew How)", as well. Want to request/"bug" (ahem!) Bucky's latest smash at your local country radio station? Click here for a handy station finder, and download "A Father's Love" and the rest of Bucky's must-get I'm Alright EP at iTunes and Amazon.
Bucky Covington, looking fashionable in a tuxedo at the American Idol finale in 2006. (Photo by Tom Caswell.)As for that runway bit...yep, it's true. Bucky Covington is officially part of the fashion world as of June 8th, when he, Bo Bice, Love & Theft, Aaron Tippin, Clay Walker and many more participate in the 2010 Country Weekly Fashion Show and Concert at the Wildhorse Saloon in Nashville. From the site: "Premium seating tickets are available at Musicians OnCall.org and all other tickets (starting at $35) can be purchased at TicketMaster.com. All tickets include lunch." Doors open at 11 am--be there for the fun, and please take your camera. (My email address is on the left sidebar, y'all...)
June 8th is a busy day for Bucky; he's also scheduled to perform at Chely Wright's 10th Annual Reading, Writing and Rhythm benefit concert at TPAC’s James Polk Theater in Nashville at 8 pm. Snag your seat right here and have a great time!
Finally, the road-- Bucky Covington and his band are adding concert dates almost daily, and if that tour bus is stopping anywhere near you, you've gotta get there! The live show is hotter than ever, and the best places to keep up with the latest concert news are Bucky's official site, his official Twitter, and Fran and Renee's brilliant Buckytown USA blog, with a killer concert sidebar. Bucky and his band are booked solid in June, with shows before, during and after the big CMA Fest extravaganza. From South Dakota to California to Florida to Wisconsin to Indiana...if you're ready to party this summertime, bookmark all those sites and stay tuned.
We'll close with a a link to a few extra shots from Bucky's recent Brick Street Live show, posted by photographer Staton Carter at Flickr. (Rocky Covington's many fans will appreciate this great candid...) Have a fantastic rest of the week, and I'll see you on the road!
She's back!!!!!!!!!!! Does this mean I can go back 1 time a week?
