Yep, we're still officially on Christmas break here at Buckymania--but this is a hot Bucky Covington show for a great set of causes, so we had to pass the word along. Hope you can be there!--Winnie

Nashville, TN / December 23, 2009
Lyric Street recording artist Bucky Covington joins Hard Rock Cafe Nashville’s Countdown to 2010 in celebration of the venue’s grand re-opening. Leading up to New Year’s Eve, Hard Rock Cafe Nashville is hosting a series of special events and week-long live music series. As part of these festivities, ASCAP is presenting An Evening With Bucky Covington on Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at 7pm at the Hard Rock Cafe Nashville (100 Broadway, Nashville, TN).

Spreading the holiday cheer, Bucky Covington and the Hard Rock will donate proceeds from the event to the Arthritis Foundation (Tennessee Chapter), which serves all 95 counties across the state and is actively working to better the lives of the 1.5 million adults and over 6,000 children in Tennessee with this disease. Doors open at 7:00pm and performance begins at 8:00pm. Tickets are $10 in advance or $12 at the door and available for purchase now at Ticket Alternative.com or at HRC Nashville’s Rock Shop.

And the celebrations do not stop here. Bucky will also be appearing at the Hard Rock’s Guitar Smash, the venue’s official grand opening ceremony on December 30, 2009 at 10:30am at the Hard Rock Cafe Nashville. From there, Bucky is off to Winston Salem, NC for a special New Year’s Eve concert.
Earlier this year, Bucky was named the Celebrity Ambassador for the Arthritis Foundation (Tennessee Chapter) and will continue serving this role throughout 2010.
