Bucky Covington's October concert schedule: a quick look...

Thanks to our talented friend Judy Lang for tonight's concert photos--she captured these striking shots of Bucky Covington during his recent Iowa State Fair performance. Click the images to see Bucky's full tour schedule at his official site.

Planning on catching Bucky Covington and his excellent band live in concert this month? Good move--the show's hotter than ever, and his upcoming new single, "Gotta Be Somebody" [hear it at Headline Country], is creating quite a happy stir, indeed. Here's a quick look at your opportunities to heat up your fall with some rockin' country shows in October:

Friday, 10/9: Bucky and labelmate Sarah Buxton at Icabod's in Ft. Myers, FL play a free show to benefit the Harry Chapin Food Bank. Gator Country 101.9/WWGR are your sponsors, and they've got all the info for you at their site. Bring some canned goods and your appetite for fun!

Sunday, 10/11: Bucky and the band play the Deerfield Township Harvest Fest in Rosehayn, NJ; the show starts at 8:15, and the evening ends with fireworks at 9:30.

Friday, 10/16: Columbus, OH is the place to be--Bucky is the featured performer at the All-American Quarter Horse Congress. Tickets for the show ($20) are available now at Ticketmaster. (Admission to the Congress is separate; see their site for details.)

Wednesday, 10/21: Hear Bucky, Justin Moore and Chris Young at WYRK's Acoustic Concert in Buffalo, NY for the very reasonable ticket price of $20. The show's happening at the UB Center for the Arts, and you can snag your seat at Ticketmaster.

Thursday, 10/22: Congratulations to the lucky winners of Country 92.5's contest--they'll enjoy an intimate evening of music with Bucky at The Woodwinds in Branford, CT. Have a great time!

Bucky Covington on stage at the Iowa State Fair; thanks again to the very kind Judy Lang for the photo.

Saturday, 10/24: Bucky and his band are the Post-Race Comcast Concert Series performers--see them after the Kroger On Track for the Cure 250 at the Memphis Motorsports Park. Tickets for the race are on sale now at 1-866-40-SPEED and online at Memphis Motorsports Park.com.

Tuesday, 10/27: Las Vegas and Lady Luck--the local tradition continues at 102.7 The Coyote (aka Coyote Country KCYE) where the only way into the Fan Jam is to win! The show stars Josh Turner, Bucky Covington, Whitney Duncan, and Fast Ryde, and with a lineup like that one, you'll want to tune in and listen very closely for those ticket drop locations. Here's hoping you'll be among the fortunate crowd at Ovation at Green Valley Ranch that night.

Everything's subject to change, of course--before planning long-distance concert trips, be sure to check with the venues and with Bucky's MySpace calendar, Buckytown USA's concert sidebar and Bucky's official tour page for the latest. Enjoy the show!
