Very quick Tuesday news: Bucky Covington in Chicago tonight, and a chart check...

Bucky Covington (with Steve Cook at right) on stage at the Wrangler in Elk Grove; many thanks to Minnie for graciously sharing this up-close concert shot.

Bucky Covington's next few concerts take him and his excellent band across the country and back. They'll perform at Joe's Bar in Chicago tonight as part of US99's Live Country at Joe's series for contest-winners only. (Congratulations to all of Bucky's Chicago area fans who'll be there for the fun! The rest of us can listen in on US99's stream for possible interviews or surprises...)

On the 11th, Bucky and his band perform at the Navajo Nation Fair in Window Rock, AZ--this is a beautiful Western event, and we hope you can make it out there. The York Fair in York, PA is their next scheduled stop--see him on the WGTY Great Country Radio Stage, free with fair admission. Finally, on the 14th, they'll rock the the Wayne County Fair in Wooster, Ohio, with two big shows. (Wish I could be there--hope you can go!) Check out our tour links in the sidebar, and be sure to enjoy one--or-more!--of Bucky Covington's live concerts this fall.

Thanks again to the very kind Lacypony for this fun photo of Bucky Covington, Rocky Covington and Jeff Brown on stage in Bremerton, WA last week. Click the image to see Bucky's official fall concert calendar.

Bucky's single "I Want My Life Back" suffered not one, but two superstar pole-vaults overnight; it spent most of Monday at #31 on the Mediabase charts before being bumped back to #33 with a slender bullet today. (Of course, no matter what chart storms are brewing, the sheer joy of hearing Bucky on the radio continues--we'll keep requesting...)

We'll close for now with a link to Steve Cook's must-read Shiny Bass Journal, where his latest entry proves the old adage about a picture--or-two--being worth a thousand words...

More very soon--good morning, everyone!
