Quick Wednesday news: Bucky Covington's autumn travels continue...

Bucky Covington and Rocky Covington shared a mic and a melody in Merced, CA earlier this summer; many thanks to Minnie for the striking photo.

Bucky Covington and his band will be back on stage tomorrow at the Utah State Fair in Salt Lake City--the concert is free with gate admission, and a seating ticket is required. On Saturday and Sunday, they'll play two shows in PA (the Y108 Thrillbilly Bash in Pittsburgh and an opening set for ZZ Top in Reading) before taking some well-deserved time off.

On the 26th, Bucky returns to his hometown of Rockingham, NC for a free concert to benefit Backpack Pals and other local food resources; click here for more details on a homecoming show for a beautiful cause, and be sure to check out the excellent Richmond County Daily Journal story on the event. (Bucky is featured on the front page at AmericanIdol.com today, as well.)

Bucky Covington and Rocky Covington have a chat in Bremerton, Washington; thanks to the very kind Lacypony for the photo.

We'll repost a time-sensitive ticket alert for a very special wintertime show--Premium VIP seats for the KSON Carols by Candlelight benefit concerts (December 11th and 12th at the California Center for the Arts in Escondido) are on sale now and going fast--click here to get yours now. These special tickets include seats in the first few rows of the hall, rehearsal/soundcheck passes, and chances to win special raffle prizes like autographed guitars. The first 100 Premium VIP customers also get meet and greets. Support local children's charities while treating yourself (and that beloved Bucky Covington fan in your life) to an unforgettable night with Bucky and other country greats.

And of course, it's always a pleasure to show Bucky some love on the request lines. "I Want My Life Back" [hear it here] sounds fantastic on the radio--and with Bucky's second album just around the corner, there's never been a better time to let your country-loving friends and neighbors hear a bit of what that new CD has to offer. (The more listeners, the merrier, y'all--call!)

More news coming later today--see you very soon.
