Sunday news: Bucky Covington's "I Want My Life Back" hits the countdowns...

Here's a very quick bit of good news--Bucky Covington's "I Want My Life Back" has moved up to #32 with a bullet on the Mediabase published charts, and if you've got the radio on, chances are good that you've heard it at least once today! Kix Brooks' American Country Countdown and Bob Kingsley's Country Top 40 will both be spinning Bucky's latest today, and each show has a station finder posted on their respective websites. (After the shows are done and your live DJ is back on the air, feel free to put in a request or two...)

Bucky and the band have a mini-break before the tour officially resumes on Wednesday, 8/19, with a stop at the State Fair of West Virginia. Darius Rucker and Bucky and his excellent band will make it a night to remember--tickets ($33 track, $23 grandstand seating) are available via StarTickets, and children 3 and under who can sit on a parent or guardian's lap are free. On Friday, 8/21, they'll play the WFMS Free Stage during the Indiana State Fair; check out this post for full details, and keep listening to WFMS for giveaways and goodies.

No new concert photos have popped up since our last post (if you've found some, please let us know!), but 94.9 Star Country, hosts of last night's Star B-Q in Salem/Roanoke, Virginia, have a Flickr photostream--we're hoping for some shots of Bucky and the band's performance soon.
