Very quick Wednesday news: Bucky Covington's chart hop, and a Western weekend on the way...

Thanks again to Minnie for this fun concert photo: Bucky Covington shares a smile from the stage at the Alameda County Fair. Click the image to see Bucky's concert schedule, and be there for the live excitement!

Here's a short and sweet update for a quiet news day:

Bucky Covington's new single, "I Want My Life Back" [hear it at his MySpace] made a hop up one notch overnight on the Mediabase published chart; it's #33 this morning, with a bullet that's looking bigger and more beautiful by the moment. Yes, those request calls really do make a difference--we'll keep 'em coming! Top 30 is lookin' so good...and a big hit in advance of his Sept 8th new album celebration is a lovely thing, indeed.

After a few well-earned days off, Bucky and his excellent band resume their Western tour with a show at the Jackson County Fair tomorrow night, and it isn't too late to snag your seat. Buy your ticket online ($25 for reserved seats, $15 lawn) and get ready to rock with Bucky and Sawyer Brown. (Sponsors 105.1 HANK-FM might have some goodies for us in the form of interviews before the concert and/or photos afterward, so keep it tuned there for any news...)

Bucky Covington and Rocky Covington greeted a record-setting crowd at Cox's Harley-Davidson in Asheboro earlier this year; photo by the very kind BuckWild08. Thanks!

A reminder about those Country Music Tattle Tale charity auctions--they're in progress now, and that beautiful autographed photo of Bucky is sitting there with no bids at post time. (Ahem!) Many of Nashville's hottest stars donated items for this event, which benefits Special Kids of Tenneesee. A good cause, a sweet souvenir, a fun item for Bucky to re-autograph at your upcoming meet and greet, and for a super-low starting bid, a true bargain!

We'll close with a little tribute to Bucky's upcoming shows with the legendary Sawyer Brown--from the Mountain Lakes Amphitheater concert in Sutton, WV last summer, here's Bucky and the band rockin' out on Sawyer Brown's "Thank God for You". (Check out Buckytown USA's concert sidebar and Bucky Covington's official tour page to find out when they'll be rockin' a stage near you!) More very soon--Winnie
