Bucky Covington shares a smile with the crowd at the Greeley Stampede in Greeley, CO; thanks again to Judy Lang for all her excellent concert photos!
As noted earlier, the perennially hardworking Bucky Covington and his equally hardworking band will be the stars of 96.3 Star Country's "Star Country Stripped" noontime acoustic show at Capital Brewery in Middleton, WI today. Looks like the station's website is down for the count at post time, but keep checking--there could be some great souvenirs posted from the day there very soon.
Bucky's next scheduled stop is the beautiful Buck Owens' Crystal Palace in Bakersfield, CA on July 9th; a few tickets are still available online at Vallitix, or call (661) 328-7560 to order by phone. This is an elegant, intimate venue--a perfect Western mini-vacation, with an awesome soundtrack guaranteed!
Rocky Covington and Bucky Covington enjoy some brotherly harmony in this great shot by Judy Lang from the recent KJJY Big Country Bash--thanks again, Judy!Sunday's concert post covered the upcoming California stops on Bucky's tour, and we also mentioned the brisker ticket sales as his reputation for hot live shows grows. A quick check of the meet and greet status at his official site bears that out as well--meet-and-greets are filling up faster, too, and four of the California shows are already spoken for. If you'd like a chance to say hello to Bucky at an official meet and greet, join his official fan club and enjoy those perks, along with full access to BuckyCovington.com, online merch discounts, a friendly message board, a cool members-only Buckaneer t-shirt and more.
Finally, a quick chart check: "I Want My Life Back" [hear Bucky Covington's new single at his MySpace] is #33 on the Mediabase published charts this morning, and that sweet red bullet is looking a little plumper today. Of course, our slogan here is "there's no such thing as a too-big bullet"; please call your local country station and request Bucky's new song, show him some love on those "Top X at X" and lunchtime request hours, and write WKML's very kind Larry K at country@wkml.com, too. "I Want My Life Back" was #3 on yesterday's "Top 5 at 6", and it'd be fun to keep a week-long streak goin' ...
Have a fantastic Tuesday, and we'll see you soon!--Winnie
