Ducky Medlock and Bucky Covington enjoy some "interview" time in this great Big Country Bash concert shot by the very generous Judy Lang--thanks again!
Happy Independence Day, everybody--we'll keep this holiday update short and sweet!
Bucky Covington and his band will be spending the Fourth rocking the Greeley Stampede in Greeley, CO, (w/ Blake Shelton) at 8 pm, followed by a firework display; K99 is sponsoring the Stampede shows, and they're broadcasting live from the event today. (If you're able to stream, why not tune in? You never know who might pop up...)
Tomorrow, the tour bus rolls north to Dauphin, Manitoba for Dauphin's Countryfest, and last-minute Sunday day pass tickets may still be available. Call 1.800-361.7300 or 1.204-622.3700, or email the fest at cfest@mts.net for the current status.
Bucky Covington chats with the Bash crowd in Des Moines; kudos to Judy Lang for sharing the photo.Coming up: a July 9th show at Buck Owens' Crystal Palace in Bakersfield, CA (tickets available online at Vallitix or by phone at (661) 328-7560) and a stop at the Fantasy Springs Resort and Casino concert in Indio, CA on July 10th (VIP tickets sold out, general admission tickets still available via Tickets.com). Be sure to check Buckytown USA's concert sidebar and Bucky Covington's official tour page for the latest news on Bucky's summer tour...and make plans to be there!
"I Want My Life Back" [hear Bucky Covington's new single at his MySpace] is moving up again after a superstar polevault this week--it's now #32 on the Mediabase published charts, and if your local country station isn't playing pre-recorded holiday shows, it's ripe for some requests today. (Kinda like having Bucky and the band at your picnic via the magic of radio, in a way...)
Via the magic of video, a little quintessentially American country music to start off your Fourth; here's Bucky and the band performing "A Different World" at last summer's Festival of the Bells, courtesy of [[hml]]♥[[djs]] at MySpace. Enjoy, and watch out for those screams! See you soon--Winnie
