Late coffee break news: Bucky Covington at the Linn County Fair (updated with request info)

It's safe to guess this shot was taken during that "we got daddy's belt when we misbehaved" line in "A Different World", isn't it? Thanks to Judy Lang for this photo from Bucky Covington's concert at the Greeley Stampede in Greeley, CO.

Here's a timely note for those planning to see and hear Bucky Covington and his excellent band at the Linn County Fair in Albany, OR on July 17th, from the Albany Democrat Herald: "Limited reserved seats are still available for concerts at the 2009 Linn County Fair, which starts Thursday, July 16, and goes until Sunday, July 19."

The Fair's site also notes that concerts are free with paid admission, "or you can purchase reserved seating within 35 feet from the stage for an additional $15.00." (Naturally, we're going to recommend you do just that...and bring your camera!)

We'll turn you over now to WKML, where the "Top 5 at 6" stream is in progress. (If you're far away from Fayetteville, be sure to request Bucky's "I Want My Life Back" at your local country station, too.)

Update: Thanks to a kind anonymous commenter for the great news--Bucky was #1 on today's WKML "Top 5 at 6". Congratulations, Bucky, and a big thanks to all who wrote to Larry K! If "I Want My Life Back" isn't playing on your radio this evening, give that local request line a ring, or contact the syndicated star on the air near you:

I love the long blonde locks but I think Bucky is overdue for a trim.

  3. Thanks for the countdown update, Anon 4:31! It's added to the post. :)

And hi Anon 4:15! As far as the "fashion and style" thing goes...maybe a very very very slight one, but not too much? (I am super nervous about haircuts in general, having weathered a few disastrous ones of my own. Just call me Rapunzel. :) I am totally (and un-nervously) diggin' the Western shirt and TR jeans stage gear...
