Bucky Covington on stage at his Fan Club concert in Nashville last week; many thanks to the very kind Texas Proud Bucky Fan for this striking photo. Click the image to see the entire show at Ustream, courtesy of Y'allwire and MCN.
Here's an extremely quick glance at today's happenings:
Bucky Covington and Randy Houser are set to hit Memphis tomorrow for that popular (and free) KIX on Beale concert series in W.C. Handy Park (map). Keep listening to KIX 106 for a possible interview soon, and remember to check out that after-party/meet and greet at Coyote Ugly after the show.
Bucky also graced the red carpet at last night's CMT Music Awards; Getty Images and CMT's Ed Rode have some fun shots from the scene, and Trey Fanjoy, who directed Bucky's memorable "A Different World" and "It's Good to Be Us" music videos, was awarded the Video Director of the Year buckle and the Video of the Year award for Taylor Swift's "Love Story". Congratulations to Ms. Fanjoy!
Jeff Cease, Ducky Medlock, Bucky Covington and Rocky Covington on stage at Riverfront Park during their CMA Fest Daytime Stages performance; thanks again to Diver for her kindness and for the terrific image. On the radio charts, Bucky's lookin' good again this morning--"I Want My Life Back" [hear Bucky Covington's new single at his MySpace] is #34 on this morning's Mediabase listings, with a bit of turbulence expected. It's rather close to the song directly behind it, and both tunes are expected to be affected by that coming superstar polevault, so we'll keep requesting...every call matters! Contact your local country station today, and give WKML's Larry K an email shout out on Bucky's behalf at country@wkml.com, too...
I'll be stuck in meetings for much of the day (sigh), but come on back this evening for a full post with all the trimmings. Have a beautiful Wednesday, everyone!--Winnie
