Bucky Covington on stage at Billy Bob's Texas in Fort Worth in May; many thanks to the very kind AmaTexMom at Bucky Fan Pics for the photo.
Here's a quick bulletin-style look at today's happenings:
First and foremost, Bucky Covington's "I Want My Life Back" [hear Bucky's new single at his MySpace] is steadily climbing the charts--it's currently up a notch to #33 on both the Mediabase published and all-station charts, and the bullet beside it is growing admirably. We still love our bullets as plump as possible, though, so there's plenty of room for requesting! Keep your local country station's request line number handy and make a call while you're enjoying your workday today...
Thanks again to Bucky Wild for the lovely request banner! Please click to view full size.Bucky's next show is a multi-artist Country Night bash during Flaming Gorge Days in Green River, Wyoming--for $25 in advance and $30 at the gate, you'll see Bucky and his excellent band, the Lost Trailers and Luke Bryan. Sounds like a bargain to us! Be sure to bookmark Buckytown USA's concert sidebar and Bucky Covington's official tour page for tour updates, and we'll try to keep up with Bucky's busy summer here, as well.
There's still a little time to get in on that contest at Bucky's official site; sign up for his newsletter, and you'll be eligible to win a very cool autographed distressed flex hat signed by Bucky himself. But hurry--the contest ends on July 3rd. Hope you're the lucky and stylish winner!
Another ongoing-but-closing-soon opportunity for some fun--the Country Weekly "All Time Sexiest Country Stars" cyber poll ends on Friday, June 26th at 11:59 a.m. It's always a joy to see Bucky's name and face in the pages of Country Weekly, and a mention in that Future (2010-2020) category would be especially smile-inducing. (Write his name in the "other" field, y'all...)

A repeat of a fantastic photo link from yesterday--Midask9's It's Good to Be Us blog has just been updated with some incredible shots from Bucky's Neenah, WI show at Willie Beamon's. Huge thanks to her for capturing the night so stunningly!
We'll close for now with two enjoyable "blast from the past" red-carpet links--Nashville at Nite caught Bucky and many other country stars for a quick chat at last fall's BMI Country Awards, and you can check out the video here. And finally, our good friend Diver sent this link to a celebrity hairstyle feature page where Bucky's look from last year's ACM Awards is celebrated, complete with styling tips. Naturally wavy-haired readers may want to take notes...
See you soon, and thanks for your kindness during this morning's tech glitch. Have a happy Tuesday, everyone!--Winnie
