Evening edition: Bucky Covington by Starlight, more CMA Fest photos and a request reminder...

Bucky Covington on stage at Rocketown during his Fan Club party concert in Nashville Wednesday night; thanks again to the very kind Diver for providing the photo.

Bucky Covington's busy summer tour includes some beautiful venues out West this year; his July 11th Starlight Concert Series show at the Palmdale Ampitheater in Palmdale, California promises to be a night to remember. Bring a blanket and get set for some rockin' country music under the stars! Ticket details are available at the Ampitheater's site, or call (661) 267-5611 for more information.

And speaking of calling, consider keeping your local country DJ's request line number close at hand, too. This week promises to be a wild one on the radio charts, and the rollercoaster started early. Bucky's current chart-climber, "I Want My Life Back" [hear Bucky Covington's new single at his MySpace] moved up a notch to #35 on the Mediabase published chart and #34 on the all-station rankings today, but with one superstar set to pole-vault over all and sundry, and a few more past hits falling down the charts, there's a free-for-all in the making.

However, #35 does mean we can start that Top 30 talk pretty soon...sweet inspiration to keep dialing, yes? Give the DJ on the air near you a call right now, and keep the contact info of your favorite syndicated host handy for next week's evening requests:
