By request, Bucky Covington on stage at Coyote Joe's in Charlotte; photo by the very kind Buckyroo. Thanks again, Buckyroo!I've got a Big Meeting today (wish me luck!) so the big news post will happen a little later than usual. Here's a quick look at the morning happenings:
Bucky Covington's label, Lyric Street, let his first fans in Richmond County know about his new single, "I'll Walk", and the Richmond County Daily Journal has a story about that and his upcoming Habitat concert there on November 15th. Looks like Bucky's hometown supporters are still in voting mode... (Many thanks, Anon!)
Speaking of Bucky's new single, it's currently #57 with a bullet on the Mediabase weighted charts and a bulleted #51 on the Top 500. Keep an ear out for it at your local country radio station-- and if you're a traveler or a streaming radio fan, Yes.com can help you find Bucky's music wherever you're listening...
Just posting this because I flat-out like it--here's Bucky Covington (and a humidity-affected guitar) performing a haunting "Knockin' on Heaven's Door" during the WSOC Redneck Yacht Club cruise last year. Thanks to scbuckyroo for graciously sharing the clip on YouTube.
In one of Bucky's very first major Idol-era interviews, he credited talented Southern rocker Bo Bice as an inspiration to begin his own Idol journey. Bo's official site (where you can also find information on his current album, See the Light) has him listed as appearing on American Idol's results show tonight--a must see, y'all!
Back with much more later today--have a wonderful Wednesday!
Good luck on your "Big Meeting". Are you interviewing to be Bucky's ghostwriter for his upcoming biography or maybe his official "hair twiddler"? ;D
ReplyDeleteBucky's "I'll Walk" is #56 up 4 spots on this week's R&R.

Hey, Beesims and Anon-- :)
ReplyDeleteBeesims, thanks for your good-luck wishes. They worked and it went spectacularly (although Big Meetings mean Big Changes...sigh.)
And Anon, thanks for the chart news! I am going to post your updates out front in a few...
