A quick chart check and more summer fun...

Bucky Covington on stage in Las Cruces --photo by the very kind AmaTexMom, who shares more of her terrific images from the KGRT-sponsored show at her site, BuckyFanPics. Thanks for this beautiful shot!

Bucky Covington's new single, "I'll Walk", starts the day at #56 on the Mediabase weighted chart and #51 on the Top 500, and it looks as though it's on target to break into the Top 50 very soon. (If your station's playing it, keep requesting, y'all!)

Fans in the Independence, Missouri area might catch a glimpse of Bucky tomorrow--he'll be in town for the (sold out, unfortunately) Rockman Celebrity Golf Tournament at WinterStone Golf Course, which benefits the Sunshine Center. The Examiner has a story about the tournament and the inspiration behind it--and the sponsors are also hoping to put together a concert with Bucky and this year's talented Idol rocker David Cook sometime down the road. (Sounds cool!)

In the meantime, some confirmed shows for summer are shaping up nicely--more details on that Muskegon Summer Celebration in the Grand Rapids area are available at MLive.com today, including new pass and ticket types. Bucky will appear at the Celebration on July 2nd with Montgomery Gentry--click here for lots (and we mean lots!) of ticket options.

The Adams County Fair site has been updated, too; Bucky's fans in the Mendon, IL area can enjoy the show on Friday, July 25th. (Ticket information is a little fuzzy, though--if you're planning to go, bookmark the site and check back.)

And of course, lots of Bucky's fans from all over will be in town for the big CMA Fest in Nashville June 5-8. (Seems like that one's just around the corner, doesn't it?) Bucky's not only part of the Festival--he'll be performing in the Nightly Concert at LP Field on Sunday, June 8th--he's also part of the site today, via a cute Country Weekly themed poll on the front page. Scroll down and have fun...

Be sure to check in at Country's Chatter for exciting news (and great photos) on some of the other artists you'll be enjoying at CMA Fest this year. Back with more soon--enjoy your Tuesday! (It is Tuesday, isn't it?)
