Saturday morning video: "Suspicious Minds" in Marion and more...

Here's a bit of freshly-uploaded video goodness to start off your Saturday morning--enjoy Bucky Covington and his excellent band performing "Suspicious Minds" live in Marion, Illinois, as captured by the talented NATE120476. (He's also got a short but very cool snippet of Bucky doing "Wave on Wave" right here. Thanks for posting these!)

And if listening to Bucky on the radio is on your agenda this morning, you could get lucky. "I'll Walk" continues its pre-release chart climb today, rising to a bulleted #72 on the Mediabase weighted chart. (A kind elf also passed along the news that Country Aircheck ranked it as the third most downloaded new song by country stations on the 17th, as reported by the industry's top digital-media supplier.)

KIIM in Tuscon, Arizona was among the country stations giving "I'll Walk" some sweet airtime yesterday, and Bucky's fans in the area can consider themselves doubly blessed--he, Luke Bryan and headliner Dierks Bentley will all be gracing the stage at the Country Thunder festival in nearby Florence today. KIIM will no doubt have photos and more from the event coming up--check back soon!

A spring and summer must! Country's Chatter has a look at the upcoming Appalachian Fair (sounds like fun!) and a concert announcement that Lady Antebellum's many fans will be glad to hear...

Since Blake Shelton has a rising cover of "Home " on the charts, I would love Bucky to do a cover of "Wave On Wave" after he gets a few more Top 10's off of his album.
Thanks for the video of WOW, my "when I fell for Bucky on AI song". I hope the sound of the band was not as loud as on the clip. Hint, hint..sound person.

Does anyone know what happen to the number of plays for I'll walk on Bucky's myspace page. It went from 220,000 to 470. This dropped him way down to 37 on the top artists.

I do not know about that drop of IW on his myspace unless it is related to this that I noticed under my Friend Subscriptions:

    Bucky Covington added new music.

Perhaps when his myspace made this action it affected the number. Maybe they want to see how many are listening to the "new" single.

  4. Hi, all! Happy Saturday... :)

Anon 8:11, I love the way Bucky sings "Wave on Wave" too--it was awesome on Idol, and even more so now. Not sure if Pat Green is the songwriter on that one (I'll have to check) but Pat and Bucky have had nice things to say about each other, so with all the friendliness in the air, that very well could happen someday--and wouldn't it be great?

And hello, Anon 9:37! Not sure what happened with MySpaee, but a couple of readers mentioned that "I'll Walk" went AWOL on the player for a while yesterday--my guess (just a guess...hope someone knows for sure!) is that a glitch hit, it had to be reloaded, and when it was reloaded the counter had to start over at zero. With any luck, those plays will be way up there again fast. Thanks!

  6. Guys, I am so sorry, I didn't post all my York, PA pics in that album so I just posted a whole bunch more. If you click on the picture above you will see new ones. I also have some in there that were sent to me by Pizzi and Aikenseeker.
Winnie, thank you for sharing that picture, I think it is a good one showing the playfulness of the boys.
