Coffee break news: more summer fun, more "I'll Walk" momentum, and some sales news, too...

Bucky Covington and Rocky Covington share a microphone at the Big Spring Jam in Huntsville last fall in this classic photo by the very kind Buckyflowers. Thanks so much, Buckyflowers!

Looks like the summer's heating up for Bucky Covington and his fans--last year he made the most of the warm weather from coast to coast, and this year's looking even busier. This morning's Midland County Fair announcement was followed today by news of his addition to the Eyes to the Skies Festival in Lisle, IL, where he'll be playing on Sunday, July 6th at 8 p.m. Ticket information is available on the Festival's main page. The Tour section of Bucky's official site has lots of new shows for you to browse--no matter where you are this summer, you'll be able to get in on the musical fun!

His latest single, "I'll Walk", is on the move, too--it finishes the day at #66 on the Mediabase weighted charts, up two spots from yesterday.

In sales news, it looks like Bucky Covington, the album, is still enjoying the boost from Bucky's recent TV appearances--it sold 1500 copies for the second straight week, according to Ken Barnes' Idol Chatter blog at USA Today. The grand total is 338,00 and counting...

More very soon--see you in a bit!--Winnie
