There's some excitement at Bucky's official YouTube channel, too--several new behind the scenes videos have just been posted (thanks tothe guys for letting us into their world) , and part five of Bucky's "fan questions" interview is available for your viewing pleasure.
Here's a very quick look at what's happening:
Chart news: "It's Good to Be Us" is sporting a nice plump bullets on the Mediabase charts--it's #14 on both the weighted chart and the Top 500 going into what's sure to be a wild weekend, with superstars falling and rising on either side of us. Keep requesting, and call up those nationally-syndicated Saturday night country radio shows! There's a lot of opportunity on the charts this coming week, and pouncing will be fun...

Thanks so much!Upcoming shows (and doing some good): There are plenty of chances to enjoy some beautiful country music and do some good coming up in the next few weeks. Bucky's part of Monday's all-star cast for the Danielle Peck & Friends Benefit Concert at The Mercy Lounge in downtown Nashville. Tickets are available in advance at www.ticketweb.com for $10 ($13 at the door) and there are VIP packages available; all proceeds benefit Safe Haven's Family Shelter.
Nashville's Awesome April will be staring up soon, and Bucky's part of two of the month's biggest events! WKDF's Birthday Bash concert happens at the Sommet Center on 3/30, and presale tickets are available now at Ticketmaster; Randy Owen headlines the show, and Bucky Covington, Restless Heart, Lee Brice, Stephen Cochran, Marshal Reign and Trailer Choir will also be on hand to rock the house. (Last week we mentioned that "I'll Walk" and Randy's current single, "Braid My Hair" have co-writer Brent Wilson in common; 100% of the publishing proceeds from "Braid My Hair" will be donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Visit Randy's special page for the song for more info on how you can help.)
And of course, the CMT Music Awards ceremonies will take place at Nashville’s Curb Event Center at Belmont University April 14th. It's a glittering event with a warm heart--CMT One Country will donate $2500 to the winners in each category of the 2008 CMT Music Awards for the charity of their choice. All the artists and directors and their charities are listed and pictured here; Bucky's chosen the USO. Please register at CMT , then ask a few thousand of your closest buddies and distant acquaintances to do the same! (Registered already? Vote for Bucky now in the USA Weekend Breakthrough Video of the Year category, and thanks for your support...)
