Hop over there now and check them out, and scroll down for a sweet taste of "I'm Good" in this post. Huge thanks to FLCathy for sharing the fun!)
Sounds like Bucky Covington is just as glad to be on stage again tonight as we all are to see him there! The St. Joseph News-Press features an article on Bucky's show tonight at the Buffalo Bar (501 Felix Street in St. Joseph, Mo; map here) as part of this morning's online edition:
And if you know him, you know Bucky and his band can and will rock the house tonight! Call Biggins Sports Bar & Grill (816 232-4450) or the Buffalo Bar at (816) 390-8444 for details on ticket availability and possible at-the-door sales, and have a fantastic time.“Whenever I’m able to do my whole show ... you get a lot more crowd interaction,” Covington says. “I’ll be honest with you, it’s just fun. There’s no time limit on it. It’s more off the top of the head.”
Chet Lake, organizer and promoter of Covington’s performance, thinks even though Covington is an up-and-comer, he stands to draw a crowd.
“He’s new, but you know what, he lived in everybody’s living rooms for four months on ‘Idol,’” Lake says.
But for Covington, whether people remember him from the show or for his songs, he’s just glad to be here.
“I don’t care how you know me as long as you know me.”
Here's a bit more of today's happenings:
Chart news: This should be an interesting weekend! "It's Good to Be Us" is lookin' good at a strongly bulleted #14 on the Mediabase weighted chart and Top 500 charts.
