Chart news: "It's Good to Be Us" is still #17 on both the Mediabase weighted and Top 500 charts--those bullets are looking a little slender today, but a flurry of successful requests could help plump it up nicely. We'll be picking up those phones...
Upcoming shows: Here's a reminder for those who've just stopped by: Dierks Bentley's Throttle Wide Open tour gets rolling on 2/14 with Bucky and Luke Bryan opening, and tickets are available now at Ticketmaster. (For those who are well aware of the tour and working on getting good seats--keep checking! A few good lower-level seats turned up this morning for the Gainesville opener.)
Bucky's solo stop at The Machine Shop date in Flint, MI on 2/22 is very likely to sell out soon--stop in at www.etix.com today if you're planning to be there!
And looking far ahead to summer festival season, some of those fair websites are beginning to update for the new year--check out the Festival of the Bells for a taste of what's coming soon...
On the tube and around the net: The CMT Online Awards winners will be announced live (from Taylor Swift's bedroom!) on CMT.com tonight at 7pm ET/PT." The Covington Times features a great shot from Bucky's St. Louis show in January, as well as a striking "mystery photographer" portrtait of Rocky Covington and a link to a new YouTube montage by DoctorPlus.
Vote for Bucky: This week's "Idol Madness" playoffs at Idol Thoughts might be oveshadowed by the possible big news at CMT.com later today, but they're still a fun way to give Bucky a round of applause; vote for him right here. Be sure to hit the Country Weekly "Country's Hottest Bachelor" survey too, and give "It's Good to Be Us" some love at GAC's Top 20 Country Countdown and CMT's Top 20 Countdown. As of this hour, CMT's Pure Country Pure 12-Pack ballot is back to giving a blank screen after you vote--but votes do seem to count, just the same, so keep at it...Finally--if you're in a Super Tuesday state--get out and vote!
