Coffee break news: Country Idols at AmericanIdol.com, "It's Good to Be Us" on the 'net, and more photo memories...

Bucky Covington and his fellow country-star Idols are noted for their CMT Music Awards nominations in a news note at AmericanIdol.com today--congratulations to Bucky, Carrie Underwood, Kellie Pickler and Kelly Clarkson for honors well-deserved! Stop in at the CMT Music Awards site to vote for your favorites --and be sure to put in a good word for "A Different World" director Trey Fanjoy, who is nominated for Video Director of the Year. (Her beautiful, nostalgic sunlit clip for Bucky's big debut hit is an award-winner in our eyes already.)

Bucky's talented fans have been busy getting out the word about his current single, "It's Good to Be Us"--some great new sites have sprung up lately. Check out the beautifully photo-illustrated Its Good To Be Us blog by Midask9 (scroll down for some excellent concert shots), stop in at Simply a Bucky Fan, where RockyBucky shares some helpful radio information right there in the sidebar, and make friends with Buckwild08 and the gang at the Carolina Blue Team MySpace. Add a visit to The Covington Times, a pause at Lisa/Judge's Buck Wild, a trip to Kathy's Team Covington, and AmaTexMom's beautiful BuckyFanPics.com, and your coffee break browsing is rich, indeed!

If you or your team have an "It's Good to Be Us"-boosting site, blog or team MySpace you'd like me to link, write to me at the email on the sidebar and I'll add it, as well--it's fun to see how much support there is for Bucky's new tune...

We'll wrap it up for now with links to two vintage photo galleries you might have missed--here's a beautiful group of pro photos taken on the set of the "It's Good to Be Us" video shoot. and a talented concertgoer got some great shots of Bucky's performance at the Riverfront Stages during last year's CMA Fest. Enjoy!
