Thanks to Buckyflowers for letting us know that there's a fun "Country's Hottest Bachelor" thread in progress at the Country Weekly forums, in the General Banter section. Registration's required, and you'll need to be logged in, but it's definitely worth the effort. Fans of all the talented gentlemen in the running--including Bucky Covington's--are lobbying for their picks with all sorts of enjoyable visual aids. If you'd like to contribute your favorite shot of Bucky from your own Photobucket, jump right on in...
And another big "thank you" to Marzy for bringing over the latest sales news; Ken Barnes reports in today's edition of his Idol Chatter blog that sales of Bucky Covington were up a bit this week over last, bringing the total to 322,000 and counting. You can read the full report (including sales news on all the Idol alumni) at USAToday.com. Bucky's current hit, "It's Good to Be Us" is on the upwsing at the Radio & Records Country Singles chart, too--it's now #17, up from #20 last week.
Edited to add some good news--looks like the Pure 12-Pack ballot is up and running again! Bucky Covington's video for "It's Good to Be Us" took the #1 spot last week, and today's the final day for this week's survey, so hop on over--and while we're at it, might as well give him some lovin' at GAC's Top 20 Country Countdown and CMT's Top 20 Countdown, too.Coming up tonight--some tips on 2008 CMT Music Awards voting, and how to get everyone you know involved. See you later!--Winnie
R&R up 3 spots to #17.

ReplyDeleteWow...what a jam packed good news newsletter!!!
ReplyDeleteI look at that photo everyday in poster form and it looks just as yummy online. Thanks Ms. Buckymania! :D
ReplyDeleteHey...has anyone checked the new hard copy of CW out? Any Bucky goodness? :)
ReplyDeleteHow can I vote on CMT? I can't find any instructions. Thanks for any info you can provide.
ReplyDeleteHi, everyone!
ReplyDeleteAnon 4:22, thanks and hello! Bucky's schedule is so wild lately that it's hard not to jam-pack a post... :)
Hey, Anon 4:36--I like that shot too, and I hope Bucky and Kristin Barlowe will get together for some new portraits very soon! They are a great team.
Good question, Anon 4:36! My supermarket stopped selling CW (sigh) so I have to make a special trip to get a copy--hope someone out there can answer that for you!
Hi, Big Bucky Fan! I'm about to do a whole post about the voting, but here's a quick version:
First, if you're not already registered at CMT, go ahead and sign up--only registered users can vote for the Awards. Here's the link to the registration page:
CMT Registration
After you confirem your registration (I'm pretty sure they send you an email and you'd have to hit the link in that message to confirm), then make sure you're logged in at CMT and go to the main CMT Music Awards page:
CMT Music Awards
...and look for the "Vote Now" button at the bottom of the page, or hit the "Vote" link in that block of links up top. Either one will take you to the main ballot page. When you get there, make sure to vote in all the categories you care about, because there's only one vote per registered member!
Finally, after you're done, feel free to pass these instructions to as many friends as you like and encourage them to vote for Bucky too--the more, the merrier. :)
Hope that helps! Let me know if you have any more questions and thanks for voting for Bucky. :)
