Other than that, it's pretty quiet so far--most of yesterday's post would work almost as well for today! Here's a quick sweep:
Upcoming shows: Last minute tickets for the Trace Adkins concert at the Tsongas Arena in Lowell, MA on 1/31 might be available here --as we learned way back during the Idol tour of '06, there are often some excellent seats released by Ticketmaster close to the day of the show. So if you'd like to go see and hear Bucky and Trace, and you haven't found a seat you love just yet, keep on trying--you could end up with a wonderful view. On 2/1, Bucky opens the show for Trace in Johnstown, Pennsylvania ; tickets can be purchased at the War Memorial Arena box office (ticket request form available here, or charge by phone at 1-800-243-8499.) Finally, tickets for all but one of the Dierks Bentley Throttle Wide Open dates are on sale now at Ticketmaster--good luck, everyone...
Bucky Covington on stage at Coyote Joe's in Charlotte; photo by the very kind Buckyroo.. Thanks again! On the tube and around the net: The Covington Times is graced with two more of those beautiful York concert shots by Cathy322 today (see her great Photobucket slideshow here) along with few words about the changes at Bucky's official site. If you haven't been to the redesigned BuckyCovington.com yet, have a look and update those bookmarks! Bucky will also appear as a presenter on the CMA Awards re-broadcast on CMT tonight--tune in at 7:00 p.m. ET.
Vote for Bucky: The latest--and perhaps most fun--poll news is that Country Weekly "Country's Hottest Bachelor" survey--we've got it linked on the sidebar, too. One vote per email address, y'all--so tell a friend. "It's Good to Be Us" is waiting for our applause at GAC's Top 20 Country Countdown, CMT's Top 20 Countdown--CMT's Pure Country Pure 12-Pack still seems to be down for the count at last check, but keep trying! Bucky's in the lead in the "Idol Madness" playoffs at Idol Thoughts (you can still give him a vote here) , and the "help Bucky choose his next radio single" poll has been incorporated into the new design at his official site.
Finally, here's a sunny (and funny) summertime pick-me-up for a January day--don't know if I've linked to this highly memorable video of Bucky doing Mark Miller's "Thank God for You" before, but if I have, it's certainly worth a second look. Enjoy!
See you later today--have a great Tuesday!

Love the ad...I have been looking for that for weeks...so pleased! :)
ReplyDeleteHi! Same here--it's always great to see those ads, isn't it? Kind of a vote of confidence--and that Top 10 quest is looking like it's right on track...
