A little info-sweep for the middle of a calm week:
Chart news: Wednesday's charts are looking good--Bucky Covington's "It's Good to Be Us" jumped up a notch overnight to retake the #23 spot on both the Mediabase weighted and Top 500 listings as of this morning. Keep requesting! As a kind friend noted in comments, polite but steady local calls fo a song go a long way when it comes to that all-important "what to add to the playlist" decision at your favorite country station--so hang in there. That Top 20 status (coming soon!) will kick things into high gear, too--getting Bucky's tune over that line will be a huge help.
And if your station's already playing Bucky's tune, be sure to give them some positive feedback! (They do like to know when they're pleasing you...)
Upcoming shows: The recent announcement at B-100 about the 2/28 South Bend concert caused a bit of a spin--when conflicting info hits the wires (it happens) it's best to bookmark both the Tour page at Bucky's official site and the radio station or venue site and stand by for further information. As both Bucky's list and the B-100 page state, all dates are subject to change; and while concert details may be confusing at times this early in the year, the good news is that Bucky's very much in demand and the tour schedule's getting busier by the moment. Chances are good that you'll be able to see him in 2008, no matter which part of the country you're living in! We'll keep you posted here, too--stay tuned for more.

More soon--have a wonderful Wednesday!
